Early 19th Century Costume Cannetille Brooch

An elegant gilt metal (not gold) cannetille work brooch set with citrines and small coral roses, dating from the early 19th Century.
This brooch is in very good condition from its age; there is a small reinforcement/repair to the reverse, where the pendant drop attaches to the main frame (please see photo 8). The pin is steel, and fastens with a simple curly \'C\' catch.
The stones are well-cut and the little coral roses are individually hand-carved, not moulded glass - this is a really nice quality antique costume piece. It measures 6.5cm by 3.4cm, and weighs 10.5g.

UK buyers
The item will be sent by Royal Mail First Class Signed For. For small items, I will combine postage, so two or more can go for the price of one; just request an invoice after the relevant sales close.
EUROPEAN buyers
I will post to Europe by Royal Mail International Signed For. This starts at £5.15, plus a variable amount calculated according to parcel weight, the default being 100g or under. buyers OUTSIDE EUROPE
International Signed-For is now more expensive than Airsure for all countries outside Europe. Postage to such countries will combine the Airsure start price of £5.00 with an adjustment according to parcel weight, the default being 100g or under.
Airsure is the most mutually convenient way to safely send small valuables abroad, covers valuables up to £500, and uses a barcode scan to confirm delivery.
If there are any problems, do not hesitate to get in contact so we can sort things out pre-response. I will keep proof of postage until I know the item has arrived safely. I will refund the offer plus costs only if the item is either misdescribed, or faulty. Otherwise the items are sold as seen. I package carefully, but cannot be held responsible for poor handling by the postal services.
