ANTIQUE REGENCY INLAID ROSEWOOD TRINKET / SEWING BOX c1830
A lovely quality little box, very cute, and in excellent condition throughout, say 9 out of 10. Externally rosewood with brass stringing inlay, decorative brass lock escutcheon and lid cartouche, and all supported on gilt brass ball feet. Key working in the lock. Internally it has a pull out little storage panel within the lid, and an attractive lined interior. A scarce little box, and so cute. Measuring approx 6 x 4 x 3 inches high. The box has been cleaned, wax polished, its looks lovely, and as such is very presentable.
