This is a Georgian necklace set in gold. Nice detail to the settings, and set with pieces of amber - some have flies in them. One is missing. It must have had a drop at one time, as there is a little ring in the centre to take one.
Matching gold push clasp, also set with amber, which works well. Length just under 15 inches (375mms). Weight 26.5 grams. Condition as described. Circa 1780. (4220ohe)
