This early pair of Georgian solid silver sugar nips measure 115mm (4.5\") long and weigh 36 grams just over 1 troy ounce. They are marked to both handles with the lion passant for solid sterling silver and the makers mark for the London maker Stephen Adams II. They are the traditional scissor design with the shaped stems and the shell bowls and are in good antique condition with no repairs and the contemporary initials TT.
