* ANTIQUE SANTA CLAUS / FATHER Christmas CANDY CONTAINER *
This early Santa Claus has lots of character. He is a wonderful German candy container with a GREAT early look measuring 5.5\" tall and made of composition. He has a faded red coat, a fur beard, and carries the remains of his original feather tree in his right hand. It almost looks like a switch. He opens at the waist and is stamped \"Germany\" on the inside of the cardboard on his lower half. Condition: Overall very good condition and he displays well. He has a few crazing lines in his face, which is not very noticeable with the naked eye because he\'s small. He has hand-painted facial details with a nice serious expression. His composition hands have some chips...nothing bad. His belt is half missing on his back side and his right foot is chipped on the right as seen in the photos. The left foot has some chips, but intact. His feet are easy to repair if desired. Please see all photos provided. This is a great small Santa to add to your Victorian Christmas collection!
