Up for sale is this rare estate fresh German candy container. The candy container is marked on the bottom foot \'Germany\'. The container is made of paper mache and covered in yellow cloth. ((NOTE: when the photos were transferred from my camera to online the color of the cloth comes out as more of an off white while in person the cloth is a pale yellow. If have tried in multiple lights to get a photo more representational of the true color although none have come out)) The beak and feet are exposed paper mache and the duck has glass eyes. The duck stands 7\" inches tall and is wearing a white hat. The duck is in good condition for its age, the yellow cloth has good color, there is a bit of wear to the tip of the duck right wing. The duck has a break that goes around its left leg, (please see photos) the leg stays in place and can either be left alone or glued back and I will leave it to the buyer to decide. Overall this is a wonderful rare German candy container and would make an excellent addition to any collection.Please ask any questions you may have before you offer - I want you to becompletely happy with the item you receive!
