Acquired from Palmetto Hall the Jay P. Altmayer Family Collection Mobile, AL. An antique group of serving pieces in the Indian Tree pattern by Coalport. The group consists of a coffee pot (8.5\"h by 4.25\" diam.), teapot (6.5\"h by 4.25\" diam.), covered dish (8.75\" diam. by 4.5\"h), marmalade cup with under-plate (6.5\" diam. by 2.75\" h), and creamer (2.75\" diam. by 4.5\"). There is darkening under the glaze on several of the pieces. There is crazing to the glaze on several of the pieces. The small teapot has a fleabite on the bottom edge. The coffee pot has some dark spots on the handle and on the interior. The coffee pot has a chip on the upper edge. The under-plate has a dark spot on the underside. All the pieces are marked with the Coalport England AD 1750 hallmark except the marmalade cup which is marked Coalport Made in England AD1750. Please see the other items offered from this collection.
