You are offerding on an antique, hand painted, porcelain, Oriental, ginger jar with its removable lid and figural insert; I believe it is from Japan, and it remains in excellent condition, showing age-appropriate wear, with no cracks or chips. It measures 7\", at its widest point, and stands 9\" tall. As seen, there is a terrific, teapot, figural insert, and a general, gold accented, butterfly motif that displays beautifully. It is a heavy piece, weighing in at 3 pounds, six ounces. It still has an old price tag on the inside of the lid that I have left, and there is some sort of marking on the bottom of the base.
