Beautiful original 18th c., Indo-Persian, Mughal Empire, Kama Sutra Erotic painting.It is actually one page from an 18th c. manuscriptGouache on paperProfessionally mounted and framed.Measurements:Manuscript page is 9.25\" x 6.25\"Frame is 13.75\" x 16.75\"Frame width is 3/4\" widthFrame is a silvery/gold metallic finishCondition: Manuscript page has some ancient worm hole damage with rips and tears along the edge. See photos. The painting is so lovely. The colors are clear and bright. This was obviously painted by a highly skilled artist. Perhaps someone historically significant. This is not my area of expertise. The information in this listing is based on what I was told when I purchased this piece a number of years ago at an estate sale, and also from my own research. A truly remarkable piece of historical art.
