This elegant chest wasused to store clothing and important fabric items.It is crafted of sugi (cryptomeria) and keyaki (elm burl) with traditional persimmon tannin stain and lacquer. It has a vertical bar which locks two upper drawers and utilizes fire-hardened pine pins in the construction rather than nails and cast iron hardware; a striking work of craftsmanship and a lovely example of traditional charm. Dimensions: 34” wide, 41.5\" high and 16.5” deep. Highly interested buyers may inquire about photos of any specific aspect!! Domestic shipping will be calculated based on location.
