The number 87 was a plumb Bob designed so that it can be filled with mercury which gives it a greater weight and a lower center of gravity.Most that I have found have been empty but this one seems to be filled [can here it slosh and is heavy] Condition is I would say GOOD - VERY GOOD. Has most of it's original nickle finish with just minor loss and browning. Has a small chip it looks like at the top of the cap where line comes out.
