ANTIQUE LATE VICTORIAN ENGLISH SILVER GILT ACORN SHAPED POMANDER FOB / CHARM:

An antique English, silver gilt (solid silver with a pale gold wash) pomander fob / charm; beautifully modelled as an acorn. Charged by immersing in scent or perfume.

Pretty, collectable & fabulously wearable on a chain!

CONDITION: All original and very good. Slight signs of gilding wear commensurate with age and use.

DEFECTS: None.

DATE/MARKS: Late 19th Century. Not marked.

DIMENSIONS:20 mm long (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.

WEIGHT: Approx. 4.0grams.
