This is a rare piece, great for collectors or simply forsomeonelooking for a beautiful large tea pot.This Victorian pot bears the white ware and the decoratingmark of the MARTIALREDONLIMOGES FRANCE factory,ca. 1891-1896.The piece is decorated with yellow flowers and green foliageona cream and peach background.The flowers seem to be hand coloredinside an outline.Golden scrolls and brushed gold embellishalso the pot.The mold presents embossed designaround the neck,the bottom and the lid, a scroll shaped handleand a beautifulspoutwith strainer.The pot is more than 9 1/2\" high with lid and 6 1/2\" wide.The condition is amazing for its age with no visible flaws excepta littlewear to the gold if any. Notice that the gold on the handle wasbrushed on. The pot looks unused.
