This antique twopiece wooden shuttle was used for weaving clothing labels or ribbon. There are two channels with one wooden gear and mounting holes on the base, which is 2 1/4\" x 4\". It is 3 3/4\" high. The gear moves freely. It is marked H. Riehl & Sons--180--R333. Displays beautifully with primitives.
