~STUNNING work of Italianart pottery by Cantagalli!The Cantagalli factory was founded by a master maiolica potter Ulisse Cantagalli (1839-1901) in Florence, Italy in 1877, and operated from 1878 to 1985. He was known for making reproductions of 16th Century maiolica and other historical ceramics. These reproductions became highly collectible. Cantagalli ceramics may be found in the Bargello museum in Florence, the Louvre in Paris, and many examples in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.Marvelous hand-painted, artistic details to this work.
