This sale is for a 1 1/4\" pinback featuring Teddy Rosevelt and William McKinley. The back has the paper label still in it. It is worn but was made by Whitehead and Hoag. There are 3 dates on it, they are July 17, 1894, April 14, 1896 and July 21, 1896. No idea the significance of the 3 dates. The pair did not run on the same ticket until 1900, so not sure the dates on the label have any meaning. The side of the button is also stamped Whitehead and Hoag. It is in very nice shape. The front is quite clean. If you look under a magnifying glass, you can see some tiny marks in the gold that surrounds each man\'s likeness. This seems pretty minor to me.
