Beautiful authentic antique Meissen sugar bowl with lid. I am not sure about patterns name, floral pattern, cobalt blue hand painted wildflower over white porcelain base accented with 24 karat gold. Lid has top rosebud decoration to serve as a handle. Please see my pictures regarding rosebud condition, I made it clearly visible. Two leaves of the bud have chip on their top, sharp ends. It is tiny damage, not visible on the first sight, but when you inspect it carefully, you could notice it. It is antique piece, this part is the most fragile and many antique porcelain has similar damage. Otherwise bowl and lid are free of additional damage. No scratches, discoloration, chips, hairlines. Condition is perfect, very well preserved including gold accents.This tiny chip does not disturb beauty of this rare porcelain piece. Quatrefoil shape. Sugar bowl is 4\" tall with lid and bud, about 4.5\" long and 4\" wide. I am not sure about pattern\'s name, but it is not \" blue\" onion\". This size works as a tea/coffee sugar bowl. Very nice, rare piece, well kept, saved. Sometimes is hard to match Meissen piece, so this lidded bowl could stand as part of collection, as single decorative piece, replacement, or as addition to any cobalt blue Meissen set. Probably made in19th century. Has original Meissen mark, crossed swords, on the bottom. Please check my listed items , I will sell more Meissen porcelain during this year.
