This is one of a number of antique paintings I am listing today from a large country house. This large antique oil painting on canvas has signature, no date that I can find, but by style and composition dates from the late 19th century.

Atypical Victorian country landscape with ruined castle and river view. The painting is in very nice original condition, it has at some time been professionally relined and cleaned. It comes in a very nice quality antique gilt wooden frame from the same period and as photos show displays superbly. It measures approximately H= 27 inches/ 69 cm by W= 23 inches/ 58 cm, including the frame.
