This is for a very well made sliding action watch-stand for displaying your pocket watch at night time. Made of olivewood with Hebrew inscription and \"Jerusalem\" on the lid. Has it\'s original velvet lining to the watch holding space. I believe these were made in the Bezalel Art School.It has particularly nice figuring to the wood. In good working order.In excellent condition just minor surface wear - see photos or ask questions.Dates circa 1880-1910.Size closed approx 2.3/4 x 2.1/2in (7 x 6.2cm). Would hold a watch of 1.1/2in diameter(3.9cm). Description

It has particularly nice figuring to the wood. In good working order.

Dates circa 1880-1910.
Size closed approx 2.3/4 x 2.1/2in (7 x 6.2cm). Would hold a watch of 1.1/2in (3.9cm) diameter.
