This listing is for an amazing Victorian Arts and Crafts redgrain painted vanity box. The original beautiful red painted exterior has the right minor wear to the paint around theedges. There is a quarter size spot ofsoil on the top that I don’t think can be cleaned without ruining the finish inthat spot. The interior is unfinishedand sectioned. The base has foursections, one 8 by 2 ¾” which takes up half the space, and the other half isdivided into 3 sections. The lid has adoor with a brass knob latch and a paper image of a Victorian woman’s headdecoupaged on. When the door is opened a flatsurface and more storage area is revealed.There is a very small hole drilled in one side that may have originallyhad a knob, although I don’t see the purpose of a knob in that spot. This is a wonderful example of Victorian Artsand Crafts. The box measures 9 by 7 ¼”and is 5” tall.

I ship most of my items, except for books, Priority Mail. Books are shipped Media Mail unless otherwise requested. Larger items, or very fragile items that require a larger box for extra packing materials, will be shipped Parcel Select. Parcel select will take a bit longer but there will be significant savings in shipping cost, which of course is passed along to you. I will combine shipping unless I feel there is a danger of damage from many breakable items together in one box.

Please do not email me if item is damaged during shipment and claim that \"not a described\". It happens - items are damaged through post office and other freight carriers. I have no control - I appropriately package my items to avoid this and can\'t replace one of a kind items.
