ANTIQUE ORIGINAL HAND PAINTED BERLIN WOOLWORK PATTERN -MOTHER & CHILD with DOG Description

A scarce antique Berlin wool-work pattern depicting a lady supporting a child seated on a hound/dog. Hand painted on squared graph paper in brightly coloured opaque gouache paint. I believe these were produced in Germany by various firms including Hertz & Wagener. Not signed. Has been framed in a Hogarth frame.

Pattern dates circa 1880-1900

Size inc. frame approx 11in square (28cm).

In overall good condition for age, just some marks to the plain background - see photos or ask questions.
