An antique papier mache box with an oriental / chinoiserie scene to the lid, all in very good condition, say 9 out of 10, allowing for a couple of diddy marks to the lid top. Made around the end of the 1800\'s, likely to be of French manufacture to suit the demand & fascination at the time for all things from the orient. Measuring approx 7 5/8 inches square x 1 1/2 inches high.
