Iknow nothing ofthe history of this piece other than it had been given to me some years ago andwas reported to be 19th c. It is definitely hand-forged iron and makes a wonderful utensil rack for that primitive home.Please see all photos for condition-part of the scroll missing on the 3rd hook,but still an excellent, delicatepiece. This is a nice addition to any primitive home.Measurements are approximately 22\" in length and 5\" from the top of the scroll to bottom of the hook.
