Description:
Circa 1900’s, a lovely oval shaped silk purse worked with steel cut beads. The outer floral garland design is on both sides and there is a large steel cut tassel on the bottom. Measuring apprx.6\" by 4\" ,tassel measures apprx. 3\"… measurement does not include strap at top..A golden silk lining and there are accordian pleats at the sides. In mainly good strong condition, a tiny bit of wear on one edge,inner silk lining has some wear but overall can be left or removed.The straps have fraying on some edges… they probably can be turned over and finished off.Seems worth doing as the purse is quite nice.Part of a museum deaccession of purses,please see our other listings.We have given a estimate for international shiiping.
