This is an antique boat speedometer that was found with some other freshwater boat parts. It is a FINSON CUSTOM 50 and is in very nice used condition (reads to 50 MPH). It works fine and has been cleaned and reconditioned. This is a very high quality instrument with a heavy metal case, real glass lens and brass movement. The speedometer is about 2 3/4\" diameter and about 1 1/2\" deep. The face and pointer have not been altered...they just have some 65 years of age patina. The original mounting brackets are attached.
These vintage speedometers were often used on small hydroplanes and cottage racers of the 40\'s-50\'s era. This is a real beauty and certainly hard to find now days.... hope you can use it on your boat.
