ANTIQUE RARE 19thC CHINESE 14K GOLD, OLD MINE JADEITE JADE RING Sz 5.25 Hallmark:

This is a 14K antique gold ring with a natural jadeite in a bezel setting. Deep scrolled designs decorate each shoulder.
Excellent condition. No chips, cracks or breaks in the jadeite.
Marked \"W\" and \"XXX\", which was the mark of J.R. Wood Co. They started in Brooklyn in 1850. That company later became \"Art Carved Jewelry.\"
The metal tests as 14K yellow gold.
The stone was tested on a Presidium Gem Tester and is positive for natural jadeite.
Several factors seem to indicate this stone is an old mine jadeite - note its irregular round shape, fine-grained quality, translucency, flat cut of the stone and pure, vivid deep green color.
The jadeite is approximately 10mm in diameter.
Size is 5.25.
Weight of the ring is 2.62 grams.
