ITEM: Stunning antique Russian Kasli Foundry cast iron ornate open work box or chest featuring Old Man of the North or mythical like faces, a slightly domed top, (4) substantial pillar styled legs/feet, and nicely detailed scrolls, fleurs and roping. The box comes with a key which its but does not turn the lock. This is a very well made chest piece with great detail.

WHEN MADE: Early 1900s

SIZE: Approximately 7\" x 5 5/8\" x 4 1/2\" tall. Weighs approximately 3 lbs 12 oz or 1700 grams

CONDITION: Free of damage with minor cosmetic wear to the original finish. Box opens/closes as it should and has a key that seems to fit but will not turn the lock.
