...This is a RARE circa 1860s Alex Beckers of New York Rosewood Floor Model Stereoview Card Viewer...It is a one piece unit and the card reel mechanism runs from the lenses all the way to the bottom of the console so it holds 250 Stereo Cards...It is in very good condition and a very beautiful cabinet...It WORKS as it should and the stereo effect of the cards views correctly...The glass lenses are in good condition with some minor blur to the perimeter edges which could be cleaned up if taken apart...It has some minor cosmetic issues such as one black rear base corner surrounding the castor wheel is missing (see photos)...And the thin side veneer on one of the top doors is partially gone...Aside from that it is a very nice and beautiful stereoviewer...It is also full of Stereoview cards that are mostly earlier cards and era correct for the viewer...Subjects for the cards vary such as Paris , Comical Series , American Views , Animals , Nature, New York , Street Scenes, and others...Measures 48 Inches tall and at the base it is 16 inches deep and 15 inches wide...Overall this is a rare and striking piece...I CAN SHIP WORLDWIDE VIA SURFACE FREIGHT IF DESIRED...High buyer Pays Shipping.
