This is an Antique Schoenhut Humpty Dumpty Wooden Circus Clown. Given his age (1910) this rare wooden doll is in nice antique condition. He is 100% Original! His painted face shows much wear, and his cloth is missing from the wooden hat piece, as apparently are his ear pieces, but he is a wonderful example of antique Schoenhut dolls.

His head moves, and his arms and legs move freely. His clothing is intact, though it shows the normal wear commensurate with advanced age and previous play, could use a little cleaning up, but I will leave that to his new owner.

I have displayed him just ashe is. Someone who knows how to restore dolls could bring him back to his clowning around.With a little Love and cleaning up, he will be amazing. He sits nicely and with a little positioning, he stands too.

I purchased this little fellow a while back from the estate of an antique doll collector. I am sure he will bring someone else smiles too!
