For your consideration I am offering a SETH THOMAS Black Adamantine mantle clock 8-day time and strike, circa 1880. This clock belonged to my grandfather and I can remember it since I was a child when I would visit my grandparents. I am now up in age myself and have no family members to leave it too. The clock is 100% original top to bottom. There are no cracks, splits, scratches, or dents on this beautiful Adamantine case. The dial is signed by SETH THOMAS, and also reads manufactured in the United States of America on the bottom of the dial. The movement is model #89 known as the work horse of movements. It is a clean movement, and was just oiled. The movement reads Made in U.S.A. America with the SETH THOMAS LOGO. There is a partial label on the back of the case with the set up instructions, it also reads Patented Sept. 7th, 1880. This clocks keeps good time, it strikes once on the half hour with a bell, and counts out the hours with a deep gong. All of the clocks decorations are in fantastic condition as shown in the photo\'s. Dimensions are as follows: 17\" left to right, 7 1/2\" wide, and 12\" top to bottom. Comes complete with the original pendulum. A key is provided with this sale. This Clock will be packed and shipped by UPS. Shipping will be $50.00 including insurance.
