ANTIQUE SILVER COMPACT / BRACELET HIDDEN COMPARTMENT ARABIC ISLAMIC MIDDLE EAST:

Rare hand-made silver Compact / Bracelet with Arabic lettering. Excellent condition, and all parts work smoothly. There’s a very tiny ding on the bottom, on the center bead (last photo).

The cover on the hidden compartment measures 1-5/8” diameter.

The inside circumference of the bracelet is approximately 7-1/4”.

There are no marks indicating maker, silver content or place of origin.

There is a very similar piece on page 301 of Roselyn Gerson’s book “Vintage Ladies Compacts.” She identifies it as 19th century.
