VINTAGE SMALL YALE & TOWNE- Y&T BRASS LOCK & KEY - PRESS PUSH KEY MECHANISM - FLIP DOOR KEY HOLE COVER

  • A very cool little brass padlock from Yale & Towne in a unique smallsize

  • Marked \"YALE\" on one side and \"Y&T\" on the other - on the bottom of the lock \"2 7 2\"

  • Measures2 inches tall X 1-1/4 inches wide X 1/2 inch deep

  • Comes with a functional key marked \"YALE\" and \"The Yale & Towne Mfg. Co.\"

  • Lock has a small loop style shank that works by pushing up with the key in place and turning the key to open or close the steel loop shank - mechanism works very well- locks & unlocks smoothly and solidly - the rest of the outer portion of the lock & the flip door are made of brass.

  • This gorgeous small lock also has the very rare flip door key hole cover that is attached by brass pin to the base of the lock and swings open to permit access to the key hole or swings shut to protect the key hole mechanism.

  • The lock shows normal wear for an old lock.
