A VERY GOOD QUALITY HEAVY SOLID SILVER TEAPOT MADE IN A MELON SHAPE WITH FLUTED SIDES, RAISED FIRM HANDLE AND WITH A ACANTHUS LEAF CAPPED SPOUT. THE TEAPOT SITS ON A RAISED CIRCULAR FOOT AND IS FULLY HALLMARKED TO THE BASE FOR LONDON 1831, RS FOR RICHARD SIBLEY I AND HAS A IMPRESSED MARK OF \"MAKEPEACE LONDON\" FOR ROBERT MAKEPEACE (POSSIBLY HIS RETAIL MARK). THE LID HAS A WONDERFUL CAST SILVER BERRY FINIAL WITH LEAVES AND A GOOD FLUSH HINGE. THERE IS A FAINT ARMORIAL STILL VISIBLE ON ONE SIDE.
