Early tinsmith made oval container / match safe containing civil war era matches with original tattered paper wrapper. As found straight from trunk in local attic. They measure 2 1/2\" long and there are 8 sections and it appears 1 or 2 matches are missing. Tin container measures 3 1/4\" tall by 2 1/4\" across. Please email with any questions.
