This unique stand is better than a half century old, and is a unique item I have not come across before. It appears to be a loading stand if I am not mistaken, and if I am it can absolutely be used as such. If anyone has seen such a stand, please let me know so I can pass the information along. The servante is a felt lined metal one, and it is fastened to the red wooden stand. If used as a loading method (coins, billets, etc.), you would place the envelope(s) or card(s) on the stand where they would be visible. The object(s) to be loaded are in the servante on the reverse of the stand which has an 1.5\" depth and will cover anything up to a silver dollar width. In the act of lifting the cover item from the front of the stand you are instantly, easily loaded for the production or extraction of the item.
