ANTIQUE VERY OLD HAND BLOWN PRESSED GLASS VINEGAR CRUET WITH GROUND STOPPER:

For sale is a very old hand blown clear glass cruet with a wavy-glass pontil on the bottom. I have no idea who the maker is. The cruet is 6-1/2\" from table to topof stopper and the square base is 1-7/8\" in across. I see one small chip and feel two small rough spots on the cruet where the glass folds into lines to form the shape. The glass inside the opening of the cruet is ground. The stopper has a dot design and the \"plug\" part is ground. There are bubbles in the glass. There\'s a bit of play between the stopper and the cruet; they may be a marriage, or it may be because they were manufactured more than a century ago. There are small chips around the base of the stopper and roughness around the opening of the cruet where the two have come together over the decades.
