Description: - This is an good antiqueVictorian9ct gold banded agate cabochon & diamond ring.The ring is set with a round cabochon cut banded agate , with seven rose cut diamond highlights in a silver star shaped mount .As was common for the period the ring is unhallmarked, and has been tested, and confirmed to be 9ct gold minimum fineness. Thelater ring shank is stamped \'15ct\'.

Measurement: - Ring UK SizeO/US size 7. The face of the ring measures 20mm in diameter.

Condition: - The ring is in good antique condition. The diamonds are in good overall condition. A couple have some nicks visible under 10x magnification. The banded agate is in good condition, with no chips. The banded agate appears to have been part of a brooch that has been later converted to a ring. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
