ANTIQUE CARVED LAVA CAMEO BROOCH

ITEM DESCRIPTION

This sale is for the pictured antique carved lava cameo brooch showing a beautiful woman. The woman is done in high relief and has a 3-d look to it. She has a grape cluster in her hair and is probably a depiction of Bacchante. The cameo can be worn as a brooch but also doubles as a necklace pendant! I am sending this cameo in the box it came to me in - I am not sure if the box is original but the cameo fits inside it nicely. The lava cameo has wonderful detail and is sure to be treasured by its new owner for many years to come. Slight wear from age and use - but no major flaws. Please review all my close up photos.
