Fascinating book from 1867, The Complete Herbalist or The People Their Own Physicians. Published by Dr. O Phelps Brown. Includes color plates and much information on various common plants and home cures for things such as gonorrhea (that one includes gin), pregnancy, consumption, sick headaches and many other things I bet you\'ve never even heard of. This is a scarce copy from 1867, not a later reprint. Purchased at a farm estate sale in upstate New York. There are a few pages coming loose, and some water damage, esp. back cover, but no pages stuck together and no funny smells. 408 pages.Please note:
