ANTIQUE VICTORIAN EDWARDIAN Black Silk and Lace Dress with Sash:

Black is very hard to photograph so look at pics closely. This is an extraordinay dress. I believe it is made of silk and lace. The hand stitching is visible in some places. I would NOT say it is wearable as the fabric is fragile and should be handled with care. It is in good antique condition but all cleaning and pressing is being left for the buyer. Therefore expect it to smell like vintage clothing often does.i have not measured this piece see below.
Here is the deal. This is one of dozens of pieces of vintage clothing I will be listing over the next several weeks. My father passed and my mother has to downsize. She has been collecting vintage clothing as long as I can remember. Most of the pieces I will be listing are from the late 1800’s to the early 1900’s. There are many fascinating pieces but it takes a lot of time. All measurements are approx if I measure at all. All clothing is antiques and has flaws which I will list to the best of my ability, all cleaning repairs and pressing will be left to the buyer. These clothes come to you AS IS.
