This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE, UNISEX / MENS ENGAGEMENT RING that was made in the ART NOUVEAU STYLE during the LATE VICTORIAN PERIOD of c1880 - c1900. It is made from 18K FAINT ROSE GOLD and has the remnant of an 18K stamp. The ring is PRONG-SET with 1 OLD MINE CUT DIAMOND of G color, SI clarity that weighs approx. .75 carat. This diamond is WHITE & BRIGHT with FABULOUS SPARKLE and ‘EYE-CLEAN’. The diamond measures 5.47 - 5.83 in diameter by 3.45 mm deep.

The ring is finely detailed with FLOWERS & LEAVES, which was a typical ART NOUVEAU THEME. The head of the ring measures 9.1 mm north-to-south and tapers down to 3.7 mm at the bottom of the shank. It sits 5.5 mm high off the finger. This style of ring is SUITABLE FOR MEN OR WOMEN, and I usually seem to find them in large sizes leading me to believe they were owned by men. This ring is almost a size 8.75 and it has been resized. The total weight is a solid feeling 9.1 grams. Any dark spots that you see in the gold are reflections of the black camera.
