DESCRIPTION: Size 10.75\" H, 8.5\" W, 2 7/8\" depth. Antique Victorian shadow box. The box ismade out of wood with carved leaves on each corner and has a clear glass front. Inside is a young boy with a small bush and flowering plant in front of him. Over the boy are flowers. I\'m not sure what the boy and items are made out of, celluloid or plastic? He\'s hand painted with color. The little purple flowers over him look like they are made out of paper with a little metal ball in the middle. In the back is red velvet fabric. The back is attached with screws and has a wall hanger on top. I\'m seen some similar shadow boxes and they were made in Germany, but the box is not marked. Condition: Very good. Very nice old victorian shadow box.
