Antique Victorian bracelet, marked XVIII, on both inside edges of the hinge, and engraved \"Lizzie Aug, 28 1882\".This has been fully acid tested and is guaranteed to be 17k /18k. ( See test pictures) It was not uncommon, during this era, to be less than exact, with the precious metal purity. This bracelet is slightly less than the XVIII that is marked on it.The yellow gold top layer is worn in spots, revealing solid rose gold underneath.
One side has deeply engraved flowers. The other side has a bird, butterflies, and bamboo. It\'s pretty spectacular.The clasp has a double push button and tongue closure. It snaps tightly closed and stays put, even when tugged on.The safety chain is beautiful , see pictures for details. (Since these pictures were taken, I have added a claps to the safety chain, allowing it to open fully. The clasp is solid 14k gold. The rest of the bracelet is as described.)
Inner circumference is 6\". (For a small wrist).Width is 1/2\" wide.
