A delightful silver thimble C1850 . Deep applied silver rim with fleur de lys motif. Wrigglework decoration above, topped by dimpled rim. All in excellent condition. Difficult to age as thimbles were not routinely marked until the repeal of the duty tax in 1889/90. Good weight, excellent condition and amongst the best of designs.
