Antique Victorian Brooch………….

This is a very pretty little Victorian Scottish Brooch featuring thistlesand a fabulous central set faceted real Amethyst.

This beautiful stone is surrounded by laurel leaves in a slightlydifferent shade of gold.

This fabulous brooch has been dipped to clean it – not something Ido as they lose their patina which I like to keep – but some people prefer it.

I love these little brooches - they look wonderful as a clasp on the should of a shawl or pashmina or atthe neck of a white blouse.

If fastens at the rear with a steel pin and C clasp which extendsbeyond the brooch dating it to around 1870.

Size is: 1 ½” (3cm) long x ¾” (2cm)
