WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PIECE FOR YOUR ASIANCOLLECTION!

For your consideration is this beautiful Asian figurine (I believe it is chalkware) brought back to the United States from my friend\'s grandfather during World War II.I have no idea how old thispiece is or who the manufacturer is. I would welcome any information that you might have on this piece so I can update this listing. It stands approximately 14-1/2 inches tall. As you would expect from an older piece like this, it has small chips of paint off it (mostly off the base - one on the face) and a 1/4 inch hole on the right bottom side of the base.
