Nice heavy and very solidornate hand wrought carved woodpiece. In wonderful aged vintage condition....no wobble. No major damage or restoration anywhere....varnish aged but no crazing. ORIGINAL CONDITION. NO REFINISH. ORIGINAL METAL GROMETS.

Whatever aging there is to this piece only adds extremely wonderful CHARACTER and would be perfect in any room of the house...especially in an entrance, outdoors or at the foot of your bed.

I am not an expert on wood types, but this piece is either mahogany or oak?
