OLD ANTIQUE VTG Ca 1920\'s CHAS LINDBERGH SPIRIT OF ST LOUIS STRAIGHT VOIGT RAZOR
This offering is for an original antique Spirit of St Louis Straight Razor from Voigt Co Inc in St Louis Mo. Charles Lindbergh made his famous flight in 1927, so I would assume the razor dates to about the time of the flight.There is part of a box with the razor that may or may not be the original but it is indeed marked as a Voigt box. The razor features beautiful black handles inlaid with brass Spirit of St Louis Airplanes on both ends and both sides. One side is also inlaid with brass that reads \"SPIRIT OF ST LOUIS\". The shank of the blade is marked on one side \"\"SPIRIT OF ST LOUIS\" and on the other side \"VOIGT CO INC ST LOUIS MO MADE IN GERMANY\". There is no damage to the handles and the blade is rust and damage free. I doubt that the razor was actually used very much the wear is so light. I did not attempt to lean the razor at all so as good as it looks not it will only get better once properly polished. Please view the photo\'s both above and below for a good overall look at the razors excellent condition.The razor also has what appears to me to be a very nice undamaged edge. This great Spirit of St Louis Razor will make an excellent addition to someone\'s collection, shouldn\'t it be yours!!!
