Here is a antique vintage Silver Plate engraved loving cup trophy, \"Fort Stotsenburg Chess Tournament 1937, Won By Lt. M.A. Acklen Donate by H.E. Heacock Co\". Marked on the underside Wallace Trophy v2934 - see photos.This measures approximately5\" wide at handlesx 6.5\" tall. The silver has polish marks and has just been lightly polished by us, could be polished further. Fort Stotsenburg is in the Philippines and this piece dates before the Japanese invaded -great bit of history. We do not see any copper base metal showing through.
