ANTIQUE Victorian ETRUSCAN Emerald GOLD Pinchbeck Tassel BROOCH Pin 18-1900c Striking 2-dimensional design, detail and color. The stones are made to simulated Emeralds and graduate slightly in size with the largest stone measuring 7mm in length. No stones missing & original to the piece. No chips and they are all very fresh looking.The stones are open at the back and faceted on both sides so they have a lot of BLUE-ISH GREEN color and have lots of sparkle!!! The tassels are finely made and quite intricate without any irregularities or missing components, and dangle freely along the side of the chain which gives this brooch a nice amount of movement when worn.This STUNNING brooch is quite bold and sculptural looking with a scrolling shape. There is a nice stamped pattern with very little darkening or discoloration to the finish ~ Gold Cased Pinchbeck ~ has a bright and golden patina that sets off the color of the Emerald paste. This is a detailed and striking Etruscan Revival brooch, that is from the late 1800\'s to very early 1900\'s. Excellent condition and a RARE FIND!!!!Dated: 1880-1910
